PKBC V – Event Details

The 5th annual, single-largest summer gathering of the parkour / freerunning community in British Columbia. Survive the 3-day event and drink from the Nectar of the Gods. [facebook event]

DAY ONE – FOR GLORY
– Aug 19, 4:00 pm @ Andy Livingstone Park [http://bit.ly/oAwBdf]
– Elimination challenges followed by 3-4 championship courses!

DAY TWO – FOR NATURE
– Aug 20, 12noon to 5pm @ Lynn Canyon

– BRING water, towel, swim shorts/suits, food for the day.
– Training sessions and a Nature challenge?!! Get ready to do some swimming.
– Roundtable discussion/Q&A to be held at the end of the night. Ask questions about training. Discuss where the parkour in our community is going.

DAY THREE – FOR CONCRETE – Aug 21:
– 11:00am to 2:00pm @ Andy Livingstone Park [http://bit.ly/oAwBdf] for Parkour Workshops.
including a course on levers and hand balancing led by Jonathan Ferland-Valois.

What if I never -?

No experience? We don’t care. Show up, make friends, try everything, and have fun. People will help.

What should I wear?

Anything you feel comfortable running and jumping in.
Standard fare is T-SHIRT + $10 WAL-MART SWEATPANTS + RUNNING SHOES.
If they’re cheap, you won’t be afraid to scratch them up.

Anything I should bring?

Water. ID, cash/credit/debit is your prerogative. Less is more.

How much does it cost??

IT’S ALL FREE.
